Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, has welcomed the policies of the Autumn Statement announced last week (22nd November), many of which reflect the demands the local MP made to the Chancellor at a recent meeting in September.

Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, visited Thorncombe Village Shop on the 3rd November to meet with customers, volunteers and new manager, Marie Humphries. The community-run Shop, which opened in 2009, relies on a team of 52 dedicated volunteers.

Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, visited Broadwindsor’s White Lion Inn on Friday 3rd November. The multi-award winning community pub, which opened in April 2022, is an integral asset of the village and is managed by Kerry and Clive Dammert.

Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, has given his backing to the next round of bursaries offered by the Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy. A limited number of bursaries are on offer to dedicated individuals who are facing financial constraints.

Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, visited the Post Office outreach service at Uploders Methodist Chapel on Tuesday 10th October. The popular service started in March and provides mail and personal banking services every Tuesday from 13:15-14:45 in the village.
